My mom is having a baby shower on Sunday but I have no idea what I can wear. I want something very comfortable but very cute at the same time. I love the clothes that vanessa hudgens has (when she is wearing them). I also love anything from wet seal. Can anyone help?

It seems like the other sections always get less that ten answers at the end when they’re resolved, and baby names answers have at least 20 every time! Please fill me in on why this is.

Moon Unit - This peculiar baby girl name comes to us thanks to Frank and Gail Zappa. If the Zappa’s were looking for publicity with this name, they have certainly received more than their fair share. Many countries would include this name on their list of illegal baby names!
Fifi Trixibelle - The first name Fifi is bad, but paired with Trixibelle makes it even worse. Paula Yates and Bob Geldof should have known better.
Satchel - This name was chosen by Mia Farrow and Woody Allen for their one biological son. It doesn’t seem so odd to those baby namers in the states, as one of baseball’s best pitchers of all time was named Satchel.
Apple - Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin chose the name Apple for their little girl and the world will never be the same. Yikes.
Daisy Boo - Jamie Oliver, also known as The Naked Chef, and his wife Julia should stick to cooking. These two names together leave much to be desired.
Rumer - This girl name chosen by Demi Moore and Bruce Willis makes waves in Britain as well, and for good reason.
Peaches - Another Paula Yates and Bob Geldof ‘favorite’. What names would they have ended up with had they had 10 or 12 kids!
River - This baby boy name for Arlyn and John Phoenix was chosen as bizarre by the Brits, but don’t tell that to the gaggle of girls that fell in love with this young actor. They loved the name.
Rocco - Rocco? Yucko. Madonna and Guy Ritchie need more than 9 months to come up with this name.
Nell Marmalade - (Helen Baxendale and David Eliot)
Maddox - Angelina Jolie chose this name for her adopted son. We love it.
Tiger Lily Heavenly Hirani - Once Paula Yates divorced Bob Geldof, she married Michael Hutchence and the baby naming madness continued with this name. Perhaps Paula was the driving force behind these unusual baby names
Dweezil - This brother of Moon Unit Zappa makes the list. Another award for parents Frank and Gail Zappa.
Brooklyn - Britain’s celebrity royalty, Victoria and David Beckham, draw jeers for this name. We give them cheers. This is a great baby name for a celebrity tot and ranks high on the list of top 1000 baby girl names.
Eugenie - Real British Royalty are not immune from a little snubbing. Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew make the list with this old time baby name.
Zowie - Comes to us from celeb parents Angie and David Bowie. Its bad enough alone, but is even worse when combined to create Zowie Bowie.
Rolan - 1970’s rockers Gloria Jones and Marc Bolan combine to create an offspring named Rolan Bolan. This collaboration only ranks high on this chart!
Phoenix Chi - British Spice Girl Mel C and her dancer husband Jimmy Gulzar make the list with Phoenix. We mildly disagree, but at least it doesn’t rank high on the list.
Coco - Courtney Cox and David Arquette have one kid and it makes this list of celebrity baby naming insanity.
Romeo - A second entry by Victoria and David Beckham, but this one is more worthy of the ‘honor’ than the other entry Brooklyn.

Here is my situation: I am 25 weeks pregnant and live aprox 4 hours away from my immediate family (parents, aunts/uncles, ect…) and aprox 3 and 1/2 hours from my husbands family. My sister in law and brother live 15 minutes away and around x-mas time she aked if she could throw me a baby shower. What made her offer ohhh so appealing is that we wouldn’t have to travel a long distance to have a shower AND wouldn’t have to worry about how to get our new baby gifts back home (4 hours away).
So my question is: Not many relatives from either side of the families are willing to travel in March to my shower and that is fine, but I have about 25 work friends that I want @ the shower. How many is too many work friends becasue I don’t want it to seem we’re being greedy by inviting more people for more gifts when that isn’t the truth at all. I just know when we got married we had 3 bridal showers and we had to travel all over the state to attend them. I just didn’t want to do that again.
Ohh yeah, one point I left out: The shower is being held @ a resturant. There was no room rental fee involved and we’re having a light tea fare. My sister in law’s apartment is WAY small and it was HER idea to “rent” a place.

What kinds of games/activities are recommended for a baby shower with deaf guests?
Filed Under Blogroll | 6 Comments
My cousin is having her first baby and the baby shower is next month. My cousin is completely deaf and many of her friends are also deaf. The baby shower will be a mix of deaf and hearing individuals. What kinds of games/activities would bring the two groups together? I just don’t want the entire baby shower to be segregated between the hearing and those who can’t hear.
It seems like it may be difficult to put together because some of the hearing individuals (me included) don’t use sign language.
Any ideas for a successfull baby shower??
